Since I can't garden I play with the furries. :D Gabriella's a Welsh Mountain mare and very particular about how things should be done. Riders are no-no. The cart and free jumping is yes-definately-pretty-please! :D

    Here she is, enjoying herself:

    She's mighty proud of herself:

And this is what she looks like after a good roll in the sand:

Yay... And this is the lady who hollers to be fetched inside if it starts to rain.

Just look at her go!! She can clear those poles with plenty of fresh air under her.

I was once told that a happy horse is a horse that's just newly caked in mud or dust. I guess that means Gabriella covered in sand is one happy mare. :D Pity they all seem to do it though just after they've been throughly groomed isn't it? :D :D

The horse pix are a good diversion, it's snowing outside and cleaning the flower beds near the house is not tempting. The horse does this on her own Droopy? Or do you tell her to go through the jumps?

She looks very pleased with her performance and just plain happy to be out running and jumping....and dirty.

The height is only about half her height, and I know she's good for more, but we're not training her to be a jumper. It's just fun and gymnastics because she likes it.

Thanks, Jerry. :D Horses are a good diversion when I can't garden. Gabriella likes to jump, so she needs no second bidding once I've put the hurdles up for her. I only ask her to change directions.

She is both! A real princess with a real princess's airs and graces too. :D

She loves to work, that one. I'm sorry we haven't got a big potato field she could plow. She would probably have loved that. And she would have loved even better to roll in it afterwards. :D

Thansk DB. :stew2: The Welsh Mountain pony has a lot of Arab blood in them, and it shows very well in our Gabriella. She looks sooo cute and loveable but really can't stand being cuddled. I have a feeling she thinks it's beneath her. :D

Gabriella is looking pretty special, Droopy. She must be having a really good day there.

I find that pony such a lovely thing. I suppose that wallowing is a horse thing, isn't it? Even with some sand on her fur, she still looks good to me.

Thank you Sjoerd. :D I find her lovely even when she's brown and green in summer. :D I'm very glad there's such a thing as blue dog shampoo. It makes her white and shiny no matter what she looked like before her bath.
