Well Philip, another adventure over another fence without Molly. Down at Molly's level I imagine sheep can be intimidating, If she saw another dog she might think differently. Smart dog that Molly.....stay away, look for reinforcements. Hudson stays home on such adventures?

I hope you managed to get that cuppa Philip after your gate climbing trip. Molly must have been glad when she saw you coming back.

We're in the middle of lambing time here in Scotland too and are beginning to see lambs in all the fields. You should have taken a sketch pad with you and made a few quick drawings to let us see. Not that I'm trying to get you back into painting you understand. :p

That sure was a fun little excursion, Phillip. The sheep had a lot to say to you, didn't they? Some were very interested in you and others not so much. I find that interesting myself. The baby lambs are cute. Lovely spot there where you live.

    Cherylad,
Nothing cuter than a Lamb indeed,..when they start that jumping and playing,..its a treat to watch.

    Jerry,
you made me aware that Molly might be taking the mick with me over the fences,..i must remember this next adventure,..as for Hudson,..she remains in the boat most of the time,..though when she needs to get on land i oblige,..the problem with Hudson is she gets lost these days,..poor eyesight and deaf as well,..maybe her sense of smell has also gone,..i have often turned around to see was she catching up only to see her heading in the opposite direction.

    Daisybeans,
i love those little excursions,..in particular weekdays as everyone is at work and i have the water and islands to myself,..at times i don't do any fishing at all,..just exploring and enjoying the peace and quiet and beauty of the place,..i am luck in that respect,...aaah retirement, lol.

    Eileen,
ah yes your Lambing season is same time as ours,..sketch pad!,..i think i got lazy,..with the camera available as well,.. my sketch pads have got dusty,..but you have sown the seed,

    :)

Lovely video, Philip. Thanks for letting us see the sheep and lambs. The wool on the black lambs with the white mottled backs, will the wool always be mottled like that?

Not too sure I care for you version of Mary Had a Little Lamb though  ...between two bits of bread? ;)

    Hi Tony,
lol,..i was in good form when saying my version of Mary Had A Little Lamb.
Those Lambs with the mottled backs tend to become all black as they grow older,..we have lots of black Sheep around here,..i think they look nice,..like the black Swans.
