We have had another 1 1/2 inches of rain this week. Next week they are predicting rain every day, but more scattered. We are now at about 12 inches above normal for the year. The farmers around here haven't even been able to step foot into their fields. Normally 80 to 90 % of the corn would be planted and 50% or so of the soy beans would be in. The only thing that is benefiting from all this rain is the winter wheat. It looks great. Hopefully I will be able to mow my yard tomorrow, as today and Sat. are supposed to be dry.

I know how you feel Capt ... it just doesn't want to stop raining here either! We were blessed with a sunny day today, but so far Sunday, Monday AND Tuesday are going to be rainy days again. My grass is growing like crazy but the ground is too wet to get it cut!

Well it has to stop sometime. As long as we don't have to build arcs. :)
