Two short video's of the weir which is about 400 yards downhill from my house,..there is a slight wind hitting the camera plus the sound of the water!!. http://s1098.photobucket.com/albums/g363/glengarry23/
As I watched the first video my heart couldn't help going out to Hudson. She looked rather worried about walking down that slope (I don't blame her in the least I'd have been the same. ) She so obviously trusts you completely though as your voice kept her going. I love to see the bond between man and dog. :-D What a pity the noise of the wind and the water drowned out your commentary in parts but nevertheless the videos were enjoyable to watch.
The sound of the wind and the rushing water makes it more dramatic,..but she listens to sounds from me,..being deaf its just sounds and movements i make that she recognizes,..she acts on hand signals now,..i was going to scrap the video where you missed commentary,..but somehow always kept it,..maybe until i make a better one.
Oh yeah... rain. Hmmm... okay. I got it... I can just whisk back and forth. The rich & famous do it all the time! Oh wait... I'm neither of those.
hahaha philip! my maiden name was Weir! i'm of Scot decent! loved the videos! can you fish there? i so miss the water....and the seagulls!
Hi Bunkie, yep you can fish there,..Salmon,..Trout,..Pike,..Perch,..Roach,..Gudgeon,..Bream,..Eels and some Hybrid fish as well. So a Weir and with Scottish blood,..you will have to come this side of the pond for a break,..to remind you what seagulls sound like here is a VERY short video i made. http://s1098.photobucket.com/albums/g363/glengarry23/?action=view¤t=SeagullsGalway.mp4
ah, philip, i remember them well! thanks for the little video. i remember as a kid, living on the Maine seacoast, watching them dive down and get clams, then drop them on the rocks to break them open. would love to visit the 'other side of the pond'...but the farm waits for no one, and we love it!
