Here's the light pole in the middle of my butterfly garden.

And look who's decided to build her nest up there! A dove! Sorry about the picture quality... but my camera doesn't have good zoom capabilities.
But you can at least see her. She's so shy!

And remember the line from Goldilocks ... "who's been sleeping in my bed??"
Well... this afternoon when I returned home from work, I had a "who's been making a mess on the front porch??"
I'll start from the bottom and work my way up to the top.

A Wren has decided to make that her home! Hope she's not always this messy! :D
There's also blue birds in the bird house under the Mimosa tree... and a silly Mockingbird actually is brave enough to move into the "boat house"!

You have a regular menagerie. The birds have set you up for a lot of entertainment. The boat house? Really? On top of the boat? A nest? Pix? :)

Jerry... the cabin of the boat was built specifically as a bird house. Every time I have my camera ready... wouldn't you know it... the silly bird won't sit and pose for me! But, I'll get a photo of her working on her nest yet!

Well the birds seems to love your garden Cheryl. I'm really pleased to hear that you have a Mockingbird setting up home in the boathouse. You'll soon have lots of babies flying around. :-D

I'm just glad that someone is actually using the bird houses. There's still one more that no one lives in... yet!
We get quite a variety of birds. Bluebirds, Redbirds, Wren, Mockingbirds, Doves, Woodpeckers, Chichees, Swallows, Blackbirds, Kildees, etc and every once in a while you'll actually see a Pink Flamingo out in the pasture.

Congrats on your new visitors. I had no idea that wrens were so messy. Its nice that she's there, though.

Jerry... The Mockingbird finally posed for a picture today. Again... my camera's zoom sucks! I'm asking Santa Claus for a new one!
Anyhow... this is the best I could get.
