I've had at least one of these growing for the last 7-8 years. Last year a Moonflower "contaminated" one of my plants and the blooms were just pure white. I kept the other sprouts away from it... finally gave it away because I didn't want it to ruin my little babies. Well.. they're back to making the gorgeous ruffled purple & white flowers that I fell in love with!

Sure hope I'll get more seeds. I need to start one for one my aunts. She loves them but forgets to protect them during the winter. She calls them "that dancer flower"!

These have always grown well for me from seed. And produces alot of seeds... just in case they don't make it through the winter. Should bloom in the first year too. Can't ask for much more than that!

When I get a bunch of seeds, I'll gladly share them. Too pretty of a flower not to spread around!

Now there is a flower you can 'trumpet' about. How long do they bloom?

Each bloom lasts about 3-5 days, but the plant should bloom until Fall.
