I have a couple of the same flowers... but your's are WAY healthier and prettier! That last photo is "post-card" quality!
Purple is my favorite garden color. Great flowers Gail, I liked the Phlox and the Balloon flowers Jerry.
WOW I love those petunias - very eye catching. The phlox and the bell flower are such lovely blooms. Everything in your garden looks so pretty Gail. Thanks for sharing them with us all.
Everyone has already commented my comments, so I'll just say " Lovely garden and great job. they are all pretty!"
Very pretty blooms. I especially like the Phlox. They're all lovely, and that bee balm is something I'd like to grow too. Come to think of it I haven't got much purple. I'll have to remedy that.
Hi Gail, all lovely purple colours,..i like the Bee Balm!,..my own flowers attract bees but not as much as your Bee Balm,..the Phlox is something on my list of plants to grow,..but that Balloon Flower,..that's a winner,..very nice ending shot.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments, purple is one of my favorite colors and it seems to be dominating my garden at the present time.
Hi Gail-- This is a very nice presentatiion of purple coloured flowers in your garden. I like that colour in my garden in its various shades. BTW--do you happen to recall which Monarda's you are featuring in today's posting? That is a very delicate tint the phlox has. Is it the 'blue Boy', or perhaps the 'Blue Paradise'? I like that one quite alot. I am enjoying this posting of yours so much that I am just scrolling up and down, up and down......
Thank you Sjoerd. I believe the variety of Monarda is 'Blue Stocking'. I have had it in my garden for about 7 years. A friend gave me a division from her garden. It is very hardy and prolific.
