    Toni,
You are being clever and crafty again! Those are plastic or glass spheres, cunningly clustered and placed in a garden.

OO those a gorgeous Toni!! They remind me a bit of Beauty bush berries. Where did you get them? I must look out for some in the shops over here. I'm sure they make a great 'talking point' when people see them in your garden and wonder what they are.

You all are just too smart. Those are bulbs from strings of christmas lights I bought on sale at Target years ago. I hung the green ones around the living room door for the holidays until they started burning out. The purple ones I just had to have but never figured out where to use them.

So I took styrofoam balls, the purple is a 3" the other is 2", painted them black with outdoor craft paint then dipped the end of the bulbs in Elmer's Glue and pushed them into the styrofoam. After they were completely dry I pushed a bamboo stick into the bottom and filled the hole around it with more glue. I will probably have to bring them in this winter if we have wet/cold weather.

I didn't have enough purple for a complete ball so I had to use green too.

I think the first picture could fool a lot of us but the second one gave it away. Well done.
