I have not had time to upload photos, so here are some photos of what's been happening in my Tennessee garden.

Absolutely super pics, Gail. I especially liked that dark brown skipper on the light purple Monarda's. I also liked that big Fritillary on the Monarda. It really seems to attract the butterflies.
I greatly admire your gardens, Gail and every time you show them, they just look more and more impressive. You must have a very good climate for growing things in combination with your obvious gardening skills.

    Most impressive photos again!
I MUST find some of those Ruby Slipper Day Lilies.
I haven't seen a Butterfly Moth so far this year. They sure are fun to watch.
And I almost didn't see the Goldfinch among those lovely yellow blooms.
    Well done... again!

Thanks for the kind words Phillip. I think the baby mockingbird was having a hard time. The parents kept swooping down on Me when I got too close. He was gone later in the day so I hope he was okay.

Appreciate all your compliments Sjoerd. My greatest challenge is the soil, very heavy clay so lots of amendments are needed. This year I have added more plants to attract & host the butterflies. Butterfly weed, dill, rue, pentas, salvias, zinnias, abelia, lantana and verbena.

Thanks Cheryl, the butterflies are just beginning to show up. I bought the Ruby Slipper locally, it has a very large colorful bloom.

Thanks Netty, I enjoy watching the new babies.

I really like the Hummingbird Moth and Ruby Throated Hummingbird photos Gail. The Ruby Throat is really perched on there :)

Gorgeous photographs Gail. I do enjoy seeing everything in your garden - especially the wildlife. I hope the young mockingbird survived and is doing well. That ruby slipper lily is stunning and I love the shot of the hummingbird hawkmoth and the ruby throat. Thanks for sharing your delights with us. :stew2:

Great photos...I especially love the hummingbird moth one. I think I will plant verbena next year.
