They have been around for a couple of months now. This morning I just happen to have my camera in hand. The photos are pretty poor quality... but you can still see them. 3 fawns through kitchen window ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) One of them scurried away as I tried to get closer. barely can see 2 of the fawn ( photo / image / picture from cherylad's Garden ) Well... you can barely see 2 of them... but I like this photo anyhow.. water puddles, mud puddles, wet grass & flowers... not to mention a bit of fog. I got out my binoculars and I could see them better. That looks to be a safe distance from the veggies. Yes? Jerry
I enjoyed these fotos, Cheryl. Of ciourse it was nice seeing the fawns, but the fog, the puddles and that little touch of sun really makes these piccies quite special.
Jerry... the garden is on the other side of the property. But by the time I was leaving the house... guess where I spotted them? Yep... near the garden. But there's really not anything growing out there now... just started some okra. The rest has pretty much "finished" up producing. Sjoerd... I do wish I could have gotten better/closer photos of the fawns. But oh well. Like you said, with the fog, etc. at least there was some "feel" to the photos.
Enjoyed seeing your fawns. Our neighbor says he is always seeing deer in the field behind our house but I am never around at the right time.
These triplets... which Hubby says is rare... have been hanging around since their birth. The Mom can be seen every-once-in-awhile... especially around the garden. Haven't seen "Dad" around in a while though. Perhaps he went out for milk and never came home! :-D
