I have been trying to tidy up these areas in my home for at least a year now with no success. Every time I get started, it ended up with more things getting in it. Arguuhhhh.....................

These pictures were taken after I had sent a load to the recyclers junk yard a week ago. Can this impossible dream become possible?

Rule #1: As soon as you throw it away, you need it.
Rule #2: Never, never throw away anything belonging to your spouse.

That said, y'all have sheds with junk. Try having a barn!

It's why we don't live in caves anymore, they filled up with junk. We were forced to build houses.....now small caves in our houses fill up with stuff. It's a genetic problem. We are doomed!!

KK...One thing that will help.... take all of those planters, fill with flowers, put in the yard. Now... you have a few less items just sitting there taking up space. :stew2:
I noticed your aquaponics set-up there. Are you still using it?

Here's pics. of our gar. for motivation... lol notice the drop blind infront of shelves and also those cabinets upper & lower with counter tops are inexpensive at Home depot and easy to set up a DIY project.

My heavens SusieQ, you actually have a CAR in your garage! I thought garages were just large containers for "stuff". Never occurred to me to actually park a vehicle in one.
You just posted those pictures to give us all encouragement, didn't you? It didn't work . . . .

There is no such word as organized in my house, garage, yard, shed or greenhouse.

KK, when I get my camera back (it is on a trip to New York City at the moment) I will try...and that will be VEEEERRRRYYYY hard to do as I am EMBARRASSED at all the STUFF we have accumulated in the past 20 years or so.....to take a few pictures so you can see what we work around/ shift back and forth or move from one place to the next. ARGH! I went to load up some wood from a stone bin back at Kevin's shop and it looked like someone cleaned out the back of a truck and trailer and dumped it in there. chains, tow straps, trash, pipe, more trash, plastic, more trash, even a set of jumper cables. and some more trash. We keep a pile of metal that eventually gets cleaned up and loaded into the dump truck...yes, DUMP TRUCK! and hauled to the scrap yard. :-x I found a box ( a BIG box) of legos all over the garage floor last week. The cat must have jumped from it and it's momentum heaved it off the self and onto the floor. SPLAT it split all over the floor! Legos? my kids are almost all adults, now, but we still have the legos? yeah, they are too expensive to give away. Now, onto my stuff, no, I think not, too much to even start on....
