Those darn squirrels....

Argh. I guess I'd better start feeding the squirrels. Maybe I can lure them away from my corn.

These pics are too big to post, but I'll leave links if anyone wants to see them. They're closer-ups of the back garden. It's in transition from a rose garden to cottage garden & it'll take a while. The winters are too harsh for the roses.

Your corn looks like a family of racoons had invaded your corn.I didn't know squirrels did that much damage.

Sure fire way to keep squirrels, rabbits, racoons, and any other unwanted animals away from your yard and garden: Get a beagle! Haha, I have no problems with any other my plants because my dog chases them all out of the yard!

It could be raccoons, but I've actually never seen one in our yard. Our squirrels here are evil, they even chew off the electrical cords on my outside Christmas decorations! LOL. At my old house, they ate the siding on the house, that was quite inconvenient when it came time to sell.

Well, today all four rows were completely trampled and every ear eaten, even the ears that were only a few inches tall and undeveloped. I saved a total of two young ears, they'd better be good! LOL. I'm agreeing with coons or maybe deer. I don't think even our evil squirrels could eat that much in a day.

I think I'll grow something else next year.

Oh my gosh.Deer will eat corn.They usually don't do that much damage.Look for footprints are forked hoof prints.Racoons take there little hands and peel the suck down and eat the corn.
Deer doen't ,they eat the shucks and the whole ear.
