@marlingardener thank you for posting those harbingers of summer. Beautiful roses. I was a bit disappointed that my new bare root David Austin roses turned out to be grafted. Those were shipped from Tyler, Texas. Of course, they are grown there for shipping, not a long term stay. I don't know when it will mature, but one of my mini-roses has a nice bud now, It's been living half inside half outside, which accounts for its earliness.
Daniel, I think I know where you got your David Austin--Chamblee's Nursery? We have been to Tyler to buy roses. I had no idea any Austin roses were grafted., and just dumb luck that we got own root roses. Enjoy your mini!
It might be Chamblees if they are David Austin Growers. I bought them directly from the David Austin Roses website, but maybe they are growers for them? I don't know. They are growing very nicely but no where even close to blooming like yours, yet.
