This is a feral cat that we have adopted, his mother brought him and his brother back here and dropped them off. Yes they have all been fixed too!
I think the queen cat knew just where to drop off the youngsters for some TLC. I can see why you've dubbed him the lion king with a mane like that. :-D
Hmmmm, "feral" cat sitting on a rug, looking very well fed and groomed. When you adopt, Captain, you really adopt! Congratulations to the Lion King, and to you. Mama cat did well by her young'uns.
He was all ready for this winter. Now, I hear, it is supposed to be warmer than normal for the next 90 days . I hope he doesn't get too hot in that coat.
I sometimes wonder if it's the cats that adopt people. Independent as they are, the mother knew right where to drop off the kids. If they didn't like you, they would be gone in a wiggle if a tail. Fine looking cat Captain. Jerry
My son does the naming. This is Chubs, his brother is Tug. The two cats we have from an earlier litter are Bert and Ernie. Except Bert was a female before she visited the vet. Ernie is the only one not fixed. He was way too flighty when we were getting them done. The local Humane Society has a barn cat program. $40 dollars for a female and $25 for males. A lot cheaper than going to a private vet.
