I'm going to try propagating in a potato. I've done this with rootone. This is my rose called "The Fairy". It grows more horizontal than vertical. http://www.ehow.com/how_7636940_propaga ... atoes.html I will wait until the roses fade to make the cuttings. Don
I can't pass this one up....the potato bin will be one less potato tomorrow and I think the rose bush needs trimming. Hmmmm....Russet or red? Would that be called a Rosatoe or a potose? I wonder if dried rose petals would taste like potato chips? Jerry
I saved that website for fall, and will take my cuttings then. Though, my roses do need deadheaded at the moment and a few old canes removed.
