I was just yesterday talking to someone, and that person insisted upon not doing something that day (which needed to be done quickly). It was about buying a new LED monitor for the PC.

So I asked: Why not buy it now? You do need it badly... And that person told me that the planet Mercury is right now "retrograde" - Which in astrological terms amounts to very bad luck. However tomorrow (which is today), Mercury will start going straight again, and so the dark cloud over many things will vanish - Specially around electronic equipment, our own health areas, and also the potential of serious bad luck when signing any legal document will start to diminish too... And so it was concluded that the monitor will be bought the next day - But it I guess will now be done on Monday, as today is a Sunday...

Anyway, all of this (written above) is what I was told... Now I myself don't believe in this kind of stuff at all (as I am not superstitious). But after reading this thread, I'd say that it's something positive (if I think about it a certain way) - Specially when health is concerned.

So (astrologically speaking) it's better to go through some medical procedure today, than it was yesterday...

A week without Toni is like a week without sunshine. We'll survive, but we won't enjoy it much.
Sure hope the surgery goes well, and that Toni recovers quickly.

I think it may be true... I've had all sorts of things going wrong all week.
But nothing compared to what Toni is going through. Can't wait to see her back here.

Thanks to everyone from all of us. Toni went through the surgery without a hitch, but it'll be a while before she's back online. She'll be at the hospital for about a week, then she'll be back home and on a limited schedule. She's in ICU today, but I'll take a laptop to her when she's in a regular room and let her reply to you herself. Thanks again.

this time it is me, no capital letters and probably a lot of spelling errors but at least i am here.

this was coming on for a while but as a person who tends to shun doctors i kept thinking it would just go away. the only recommendation i can give is if you are over 40 and/or your doctor recommends it.....go get a colonoscopy!!! We probably won't have lab results until Wednesday so keep those good thoughts and prayers coming my way.

And pray for regular rain for my garden since i won't be out there doing anything in it until possibly November. a lot of reading and knitting in my immediate future

I get go to a regular room this afternoon, intensive care is very noisy and busy, tonight i should sleep much better.

    Love You all.

Happy to hear from you Toni and wish you a speedy recovery. I wish I lived near you... I'd gladly water your gardens.
My dad used to call Intensive Care... Insensitive Care! :-D
