I love being retired
Category: Grandaddys Blog | Posted: Tue Aug 11, 2009 1:01 am I honestly don't know how I found time to work a full time job. It seems like time flies bye when I am out in the yard or tinkering with something in the garage. I guess the old saying "time flies when your having fun" is very true. My Garden helps me deal with a great loss.
Category: Grandaddys Blog | Posted: Mon May 25, 2009 2:48 pm My Dad passed away Thursday morning at 2:45 am. We didn't get home from the hospital until 4:30 am and I could not go to bed so I went out in the yard a spent a couple hours planting a couple flats of annuals. It was very peaceful and quite with only the birds chirping early in the morning. I could think and cry and reflect on what a great inspiration he was in my life. We were very close and often enjoyed just getting in the truck and trying to find a road we hadn't been down before just so we could go down it to see where it ended. I will miss Him. flowers are blooming
Category: Grandaddys Blog | Posted: Wed May 20, 2009 10:13 am Some of my Daylilies are starting to bloom. I have just started planting my annuals. My neighbors pink roses are so bright they look to be glowing in the sun.
