How pretty! I, too, just love Hibiscus. We have to winter them over indoors here in NJ.... The one I tried to winter-over this past winter didn't make it. Maybe there's a trick to it.... first time I tried.
I too prefer the single blossom...it was just an awesome way to start my work day...I opened the door and it said "HELLO"!!! This morning it's gone...lol So Happy I captured it when I did!!!
I just took this pic today at(4:40pm)!! They are really showing out...both the yellow and red..been watching them all day! Both will be in full bloom in the morning(I hope). I'm coming back to the office just to take pics in the morning...Yayhooooo!!!!! 5-4-12 Showing Out!!! ( photo / image / picture from hummerbum's Garden )

I'm going to show you what I saw when I opened the door and then when I was leaving: It was amazing that the yellow was actually opening as I was feeding my other plants!!! Hope you enjoy!!! Love love love Hibiscus.Yours are gorgeous, Hummerbum! My In-Laws had a huge one which used to be covered with flowers so much so that you couldn't see the leaves. But thats in India and I have always longed for one here in US. Well, went to the nursery yesterday and didn't see any 'hardy' ones. Will go back again later.
Your are so pretty. Not sure if mine is going to come up. Lady said strange warmer temps lots not coming back this year. I know hummer will miss them also. Have to wait and see.
How gorgeous are these new foto's! You are living in a good area of your country so that you can grow such beauties. Really impressive, mate. So then---you are not only the hydroponic veggie girl, but also the flowering plant champ. Well done you.
