The other day we found metal bridges for our front gardens. They will replace the little wooden ones. This will be done before the garden tour at the end of June. The wooden ones only lasted 4 years the new ones should last many many more years. We only needed 3 for the front but I bought 1 extra in case we wanted to use it in the back gardens so it would tie the whole thing together. Spring is definitely coming....in my neck of the woods.
You must show us them when you put them in place Barb. They certainly look nice and strong as well as being attractive.

Annabelle Leigh lives in the back garden in the Summer but would not go near the bridge. It is over an acre back there. Frank, We got them at a local little store near us. They couldn' t believe we wanted 4 .LOL
What is it made of? 10 years ago I bought an aluminum bench for the garden that was powder coated to look like wrought iron. We leave it out all year, even in the snow. After all that time, it has not weathered, so I'm thinking that a little bridge in aluminum would be the perfect addition to my backyard.
Ours is steel. They will stay out over the Winter. The old ones were wooden and left out all Winter. That is why they didn't last very long. We like how it looks in the Winter so these are more suitable for us.
Either way very nice. Where did you end up buying it from. Seems like something that could work in multiple outdoor spots I have.
I bought them at the Christmas Tree Shops. We have them all over in my area. Moosic, Pa is where I got these because no one else had them. They were $69.99. And BTW, They had them displayed way up nigh over all the shelves of makeup stuff so ask if you are out to find these little gems. the workers don't even know they have it.

Yes, I like the striking look of the black against the snow. I may end up getting steel as well, there is not much selection of aluminum. I suppose the steel will last, as long as I do some touchups to the paint every spring to prevent any rust spots forming.
