The bumblebees are newly hatched and active. So much fun to see. The big lilacs are finished but the really fragrant Persian lilacs have begun blooming along with the clematis. Hostas are gaining size, but so are the dandelions:confused:. Rhodies are in bloom everywhere. Maybe photos of them tomorrow.

Gosh you're way ahead of me Jewell. I love all the plants you've shown us but that white bleeding heart has just got to be my favourite.

I wish I could smell the Lilac's too! It will be at least a few weeks before mine bloom. Love the Clematis ... they don't seem to like it in my yard much.

image.jpg My favorite combo is in full bloom. My least favorite combo is just starting. Lavender and red is not a combination I would choose. image.jpg
Another clematis just starting. image.jpg It's hard to believe spring is so far advanced but maybe it's because the warm weather has made me feel more like this..... image.jpg

Gorgeous! I love Clematis, but they don't love it here. I had gorgeous ones at the old house!

Jewell, is that a Nelly Moser clem with a wegelia? Whatever they are, they are gorgeous together. I also love you double white clematis. What vine is growing on the trellis outside your door? That front (is it your front door?) door shot is great! The snoozing pooch, the sun on the door step, the gentle curve of the doorway reflected in the stone stoop & of course, the 2 trellises flanking the door.

Nettie---Why don't clematis love it in your garden? I ask because I have been having trouble growing them too.
