Good morning all. Put another nickel in, play that broken record again. All I want is cooler, cooler, cooler. (Another 'oldie' popped into my head as I sat here)

Netty what is the usual date of your first freeze or cold snap in Ontario? Just the thought of someone preparing for cold weather already is hard to wrap my brain around. We have at least 2 more months of 90+ temps with little to no hope of winter until maybe November and if like last year, it may not show up even then. This time of the year I am extremely jealous of your weather.....actually I am jealous of your weather from June through February.

Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 14°c and clear. Went to work yesterday only to discover that the deer had made it past the 'deer fence' and munched on the beans, peas, zucchini and kale. Repaired the fence and set up the sprinklers on a timer for dawn. I am keeping my fingers crossed they didn't get inside again. Another busy day!
Toni, Our first frost is usually by the beginning of October, but the nights get rather cool in September.
Have a great day all :)

Good afternoon all! Woah, it's a scorcher here today! 31 degrees C on the thermometer currently. Tomorrow it is promised to return to more normal temperatures as the Atlantic low pressure wins out. However we will enjoy today while it's here (and by enjoy I mean staying in the shade).
    Have a top Tuesday all!

Our predicted thunderstorms materialized around 6pm. The rains came straight down with a vengeance. Sun is up and shining this morning.

dr and I write short stories but haven't published any. The writer's group at the Senior Center has sort of dissolved because there is no leader. We've been thinking that in the fall we may try to do it.
dr and I are planning a trip to see wannabe at the end of the month. Haven't visited her in quite some time. Should be fun! dooley

Good Wednesday morning all. Currently 12°C and clear. It is going to be a hot one today! After a small break from watering, today we will be dragging hoses again. It was nice while it lasted! Have a great day all :)

Much more comfortable here in South East UK today. Around 33 and humid yesterday but mid 20's today and a good breeze. The sun is still shining though :like:

Lovely and sunny today. Took the Grandkids to the beach and we collected a few clam shells we'll decorate :) Also planted up a strawberry jar with hen and chicks. So far a great day :flower::flower::stew1::stew1::stew2::stew2:

Hey all. Not much to report. Its 84º and partly cloudy. Had leftovers for dinner, as I didnt feel like cooking. My legs and feet are dying, just got home from work an hour ago. My back hurts too.
I got a new computer Monday :) We ordered the parts Thursday evening and built my tower Monday night after I got home from work. Its MUCH better than my old computer. and it'll be even better when I get a new power supply and graphics card :D (those were the only 2 parts that we used from the old computer). Yay!

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 10°C and clear. Another scorcher today! A busy day ahead, then shopping and errands. Then to the parts store for a belt for the lawn tractor. Have a great day all :)

Morning all. After two sultry days with temperatures well into the 30's today is more pleasant and cooler. Only problem, my water butt is empty so I will be doing a rain dance later. ;)

Good morning all. The weather guy keeps predicting the 100+ temps (38c+) will arrive soon and today is supposed to be the first of a few of them, but that's what he said about last week and two weeks before that. So if the temps decide they do not want to torture us afterall maybe they will go somewhere else....we can roast really well in the 95-99 deg range thank you very much.

Nice and sunny here today. Just planted two Echinacea "Cheyenne" - one is all yellow and one with red petals and a black eye.
