Beautiful again....I like the fungus, we have a lot of it on an old stump on the property by the lake we just bought. The other part of the tree is laying in the water. We are not sure yet if we can remove any of the ones in the water, I think we have to check with the DNR. that clean up if allowed will take place after we move on the property and the house is built. Weather permitting I would rather be outdoors gardening than in the house too.

Thank you for sharing all of your beautiful photos and I will look forward to seeing more of them...:)

I love the cardinal vine. I grew it many years ago and think I will put that in next spring. It is beautiful...

I think this is the third year I've grown it. It can be a real bear to take down at the end of the season tho. I grow it on the side of one of my backyard sheds. What I do is run a string trellis around a series of screws at the top and bottom. The end of the season, all you need to do is make a couple of snips to the string, and it all comes down in one fell swoop.

Yes I remember how hard it was to take down. I will keep that in mind next year when planting it.....thanks.

October 22, 2016 084.jpg This is what the fungus on our tree looks like...I have no idea how old it is. Yours is so much prettier.

Beautiful garden and wildlife, stunning photography!
The reason I would love a holiday where you all are is the wildlife.

We call the grey squirrel virmin here due to the lack of our native Red Squirrel losing out. I would love to see a Hummer here and your Goldfinches are different than ours.

That red plant with the guy looks like our Calendulas.
