Well, you can't say I'm not adventurous in all things! Or maybe I just get bored too easily? Either way, I decided it was time to change it up with the old lady hair. So I added teal highlights!
Ronni I wish I were as brave as you I really do. I absolutely love your new hair colour. Who wants to be a typical lady, of a certain age, anyway? Teal really suits you so, please, don't ever conform 'cause it just isn't you.
Thanks honey! Yeah, I guess it's obvious I'm not much of a conformist! Not my style at all. My kids laugh at me (in a loving, supportive way) about how "edgy" I've become in my dotage, with the bright colors in my hair, my tattoos, the way I dress...but under the gentle ribbing, they're proud of me too for being a bit on the edge, for not going quietly into senior citizenship, for staying up on technology etc. For me, all that is helping keep dementia and senility at bay. I mean, I joke about it, but I also really believe that it helps, especially continuing to expand my brain with technology, keeping it active and engaged that way. And besides all that, it's just plain fun!!
