BAM...it's 'winter wonderland' again here! Gonna snow all day today, thru the night, into tomorrow morning! We already have quite a bit from last night. The pups are romping and stomping around in it...the ducks and geese, not so much, Gonna have to dig them out a little later! glad we got the blade and chains on the tractor!

Snow LOOKS so good when it's fresh but the chaos it can cause isn't quite so welcome. Lovely photographs though - winter wonderland is a great description.:)

I just ventured outside to take care of the geese and ducks...They were not happy campers, no sirree. We have over 6 inches here now easily!!! I'm shocked!!! And it's still coming down. Had to clean all the solar lights off, the gates, I'm not cleaning off the van till I have to! Now I'm prepping the cabin incase the electricity goes out....charging lamps, splitting extra wood, the 'drill'. This is a heavy wet snow. I found my snowshoes...this ought to be fun....I've never used them before, but I do have the instructions of how to put them on!!!

Holy mackerel, Bunkie ! That is some snow you've got there.
I enjoyed seeing your pics, but it does look very cold there. Glad to hear that you are making some precautions. ..I always said that you were a smart girl.
    Stay warm and dry, miss.

We had another wicked snowstorm that lasted all morning and into the night yesterday! A good old blizzard! We must've gotten 8 to 10 inches! I have a bunch of pics to post here real soon! Hugs all!

All our snow had melted, then we got a little more yesterday. It is SO cold!
Maybe more snow tonight. I like having the ground white in winter!

oh, I will let you have it. our forecast was 11-12" then 7-9" then 4-7" with a wintery mix of sleet freezing rain, ice accumulation, snow and getting brutally cold. and WINDY the wind did howl all night long and we had some sleet and a bit of a glaze and some snow but not an inch I don't think. no schools were open yesterday... businesses shut early or didn't even open due to the forecast all for pfft...... but the wind, oh my! it howled like a banshee all night long. I am so thankful we didn't have the snow. it would have been a blizzard.
