No need to go outside in bad weather, let the birds come to you. I opened a window and gave the birds some food, then I left the window open and let them help themselves.

Great photographs of your garden visitors. I wish I had a window like yours and maybe then the birds here would come and feed themselves like yours do.

Thank you for the posts etc. It was fun taking the pictures. Had a small tripod with the camera on as it was hard to hold the camera waiting for the birds to pop in.

@Kildale stunning shots mate and seeing nature at it's best ….where we lived previously the squirrels seemed tame and they would come along the fence and take the nuts from my fingers but not the ones here :)

For a few years one of my sons had a squirrel who came to his front door, scratched as if asking for nuts. My son would sit on the step, place nuts on his thigh and "Fred", who turned out to actually be "Fredrica",
ate until satisfied. Fred died. My son was suspicious about the death and thinks someone poisoned her.

Oh it sounds a lovely friendship mate but being poisoned if that's what happened out of cruelty is bad and there's some people who would just do it for the sake of it in spite.
