I have a Ginkgo tree that I'm raising that's currently about 4 months old. It's becoming winter now, and I believe winters here would be far to harsh on such a young tree. So we brought it inside but the leaves gone into an increasing worse condition. They're not as vibrant green, some have brown areas or white tips, and one of the smaller leaves is starting look shriveled. Any advice on how to properly care for a young tree indoors would be greatly appreciated. I would add a photo but I am right about to head out the door.

@Gail-Steman I have read through both links and watched the video, but unfortunately all three are general information and history that I already know. I've looked elsewhere for how to raise young tree's but the "young" trees shown are 3-4 years old, much older and much stronger than my little 4 month old twig with leaves.

bump/update He's still alive, leaves are fully yellow now but I can't tell if that is from illness or just because that's the color they change to
Hello Breena. I've checked for you and they're healthy with yellow leaves as you can buy them that colour...quite an expensive plant

I am well aware that they turn yellow around this time of year, the thing being that the entire time prior to incredibly shriveled yellow leaves, they had turned white and brown as soon as cold weather hit. Which is not, as far as I'm aware, typical of healthy ginkgo trees. Under normal conditions healthy green leaves change to yellow, but they are not shriveled and dry until well after they fall from the tree. All of the leaves on my tree are very frail, dry, nowhere as vibrant yellow as they should be around this time of year, and the bark feels chalky. I don't believe it is from lack/abundance of water but I could be wrong there, and I have checked the roots and they appear fine.

@Gail-Steman Thank you for your search. I read through both articles, and I of course am hoping that this is not the case. However, this image (thats a big picture oh boy) right here that I found in the second article looks rather close to the condition my tree's leaves were in before they turned into their current shriveled yellow state. Difference being that they never got to the point where they had holes all the way through nor the lighter brown areas (which based on what I read is where the spore is). but the light yellow, brown tips and slight shriveled texture is exactly how they were. I'll have to compare the bark to how the article described tomorrow. By this point I am genuinely questioning the quality of the supplier. I ordered four trees. Three never grew, and when I finally decided to break a piece of the stem/trunk off to see the inner condition, it was literally a dry stick. Dead from before I got it. Now my only survivor is seemingly ill
Hello @Breena Elias it doesn't sound to good and it's a shame when your buying from a seller and trusting them and if you've had trouble as you've said I would leave well alone in future...I only buy what i'm able to see and i'll be buying more come next year having several failed me. Sounds like you've also been covering all issues on treating it how it should be and if the stem was dry when you broke it, it sounds to me on it's way out. If your plant does seem similar to any of the conditions on the links and progresses i'm sorry to say it may have to be throwed because it may be progressing slowly. There was nothing for Gingko except those links, other info was coming under plants in general.
