Chicken fried steak,,mashed potatoes and gravy with hot biscuits ! I love potato soup with onions and a bit of cheddar cheese added !
We were invited out to a mate's house to eat. We exchange turns of making meals for eachother from time to time. Here was the main ( he called it a "Spanish bread dish") but also said that it had a Hungarian name: Then for pudding, a flensje (crêps) covered with melted dark chocolate and filled with rich vanilla ice cream. Then see the ice cream: Dear, oh dear, oh dear.... and if this wasn't enough, he then offered carrot cake with the tea afterwards. Oh, you could say we were well spoiled with the outlay.
