I'll have to check that brand out. Thank you for the recommendation. Thank you. It is very relaxing. I'm also hoping to make a dent in my yarn stash between the weaving and the planned sock making in the upcoming year.
My mom and my sister in law both crochet. As a matter of fact, once they sit down it's hard to get them to do much else!
I basically do it for fun..as I'm always doing something..jus nervous energy..but I so enjoy turning old scrap clothes an such into rugs.
Good morning @carolyn ..This one ended up 4.5 ft. I just love doing this and you are so right @Gail-Steman ..it is relaxing. wishing all of you a mighty fine day
Deana these look beautiful but the colour of this one did take my eye...i'm forever buying new carpets for on the wooden flooring, my hubby puts his foot down though sometimes
Thank you Gail, something I love doing although here lately the ragrugs have been put away for now as Spring gardening has my attn.
I have done crochet but only made squares and sewed them together and made blankets for my dogs/boys. I'm much better at knitting my mother showed me when i was 5. Always messing around with the tredle sewing machine when i was little and started sewing properly when i went to secondary school at 11.
I think that's awesome Logan, my son crocheted and knits. I love to sew made a few quilts. My Mother In Law taught me, although I've not done much lately
Thank you and that's great @Deana Tankersley it's very popular to do patchwork quilts here but i haven't, just dress making. I stopped doing it because i couldn't get the fabric, a few years back somebody told me about a little shop in town and good prices. It's the same with the wool to do crochet with, but now can get it at Aldi or Lydle.
I haven't made quilts in a few years, have sold a lot of my fabric but kept all of the snowflake prints. I plan on making quilt tops from them for each of our kids and grandkids next year. I can not hand quilt any more, 15 years of doing that causes a lot of pain now so I plan on bundling each quilt top with batting, backing and money to have it machine quilted. Some of my quilts.... https://www.gardenstew.com/blog/c285-5-my-crafty-side.html
