Yes, thanks Gail. Or rather almost. We are letting the sand settle before setting the bricks into it. Looking good though!

Yeah-- I like the aspect of ever-changing plants. We do that with our flower boxes on the balcony.
Good luck with your choices next season, mate.

Thanks SJ. I think that is the way to go. That way I'll always have something colorful there

We do that in the flower garden sometimes as well. It is a guilty pleasure --buying new plants when older ones bloom out. ;)
Always having something new to see and attract pollinators.

well, that is awesome looking. I LOVE the lions. we just happen to have a new kitten with the personality of a lion. I just remarked it is good he is not a full sized cat... like a lion. "can you imagine how difficult it would be to keep him?" to my daughter. I just might needs go see if I can find a couple of cats for my walkway... when we get it poured or laid or whatever we do. it wasn't done when we built the house and so it has never been finished. if you want to come to my front door walk right through the flower bed... which happens to be 50'x75'... the whole front space between the drive and the house. I use the whole thing for a cutting garden for my farmers markets.

Wow Cayu--that looks smashing. The colourful little flowers look smart in that small bed as well.
A big congrats to you and yours for doing such a good job with that step.
