I am a great lover of stick like plants that stay smaller. The light airy feel in front of a sunny window makes me happy. Hatiora salicorniodes like most succulents, is an easily propagated plant. Simply snip cuttings, place in dirt, put in plastic bag (or not) in sunny east window for a couple of weeks and you have a new plant. The little yellow blooms in the winter and spring are a bonus if you have enough light. Here are photos of my oldest plant before and after it’s trim. And a new head planter I consolidated several of my starts into, plus the donkey planter that gets new starts.

I used to have one of these in my office at work. Grew easily. Not sure whatever happened to it but it was quite different hence a good conversation piece.
Sjoerd, this plant blooms yearly on my old plant. The younger plants must need to mature before blooming. I had a second large plant that was supposed to be Mistletoe cactus but the yellow blooms gave it away so it got a new home. Yes, it is a super easy plant. I pass off baby plants. Did your office plant have yellow blooms also?
It has yellow blooms, right? My sil has that plant, and hers blooms yellow. There may be more than one sort though, I dunno.
Yellow blooming, is the one I have. I thought I had gotten a mistletoe cactus, very similar looking, but when it bloomed it turned out to be a duplicate of this one. I gave it away. Mistletoe cactus have white blooms with white berries. Some day I may come across one.
Yes, it was memories of a silly little burro figurine I purchased when I was ten and book of my youth (when I was first learning to read) that started my silly collection years ago. They were only a few dollars when I first began purchasing them so my collection got quite out of hand. They still make me smile with all their different expressions.
