Good Tuesday morning all. Currently 9°C and clear. It's going to be a lovely fall day!
Off to work and another busy day!
Going for an oil change after work today, then grocery shopping on the way home.
Hopfully I'll have time to put my feet up after dinner.
Have a great day all :)

Netty, I hope you had that chance to get your feet up.
I took out the cucumber vines this morning. Tiny cukes were growing,
but frost could come sneaking in any night now. While clearing an extended bed, I found the reason my onions didn't grow. It seems I
mistakenly bought Bunching onions. They're coming up now.

Good Thursday morning all. Currently 8°C and clear.
We had a cold front move through yesterday, bringing rain and high winds. At work we had a big pine tree come down on a building, and I'm sure I will find lots of downed branches today.
Another busy day, and then my daughter has skating tonight
Have a great day all :)

Netty, does your daughter skate with others? Must they social distance?
We have that here and it's a royal pain.
Goodness, I can imagine you picking up the downed branches. We had
some wind, but no damage that I know of.
My gardens are pretty much tucked in for the cold months.

It's so foggy today that my husband turned on the outside porch light so I could find my way back from the barn! Since it's so soupy out there, I'll have to postpone this for a day or two.

I have my trusty broom dusted off and am asking which of the cats want to ride with Mama. No volunteers yet.

Probably Cali--she is up for almost anything, and very capable of letting her wants known. If we are flying too fast, she'll let me know!

Drive carefully Jane and try not to stick out too much, if you crash someone will have to sweep you up.

Yes, the amount of skaters on the ice is limited and they must social distance. And wearing masks, while mandatory almost everywhere, are not necessary to wear on the ice. No spectators are allowed in the building and skaters must come to the rink with skates already on. It's a crazy world these days, isn't it?!
Good Sunday morning all. Currently just 2°C and clear. There was a thick layer of frost on my porch railing this morning, so I will have to go outside later and see if anything survived. I guess my gardening season is over for the year :(
Have a great day all :)

Sjoerd, thank heavens I didn't go out and trade in my trusty broom for a newer model. What are the manufacturers thinking?

MG, I get it! Mother used to gather Broom straw from fields and make her own broom.
I have one hanging on my wall, where it has been hanging since I made it in TN, with straw gathered in my sister's field.

Today, Monday, is Columbus Day here in the USA. However, in Canada it is Thanksgiving. So, Happy Thanksgiving all our neighbors to the north, and we are so happy to have you above us, in so many ways.
