can't remember what dance was around 1965..ready steady go..60's crikey those girls all over Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones...
Some of the recorded sounds seem terrible to me, but good to look back at Ready Steady Go...imagine what the younger generation would make of it now....Saw the Stones a couple of times..One time was the Fairfield Halls Croyon where I was born..the pits now in my Opinion...the other time at a huge Football Stadium..North of London...Wembley that's it... they were one group of many artists that evening......
I bought Dionne Warwick's third album, in 1964. "Make Way for Dionne Warwick," when I was in my early twenties. At the time I was the manager a TV and Electrical store in North London for part of a chain. I recorded it to a reel to reel tape recorder and often had it playing in the shop. We sold a lot of tape recorders that way, as I gave away the tape with the machines and just recorded it again for the next one.
Clydie King 1943-2019 Made a lot of records, but not very successful, was a backing singer for an awful lot of other singers.
