    Welcome Luna
People around here go over board with the Dahia's and there Gardens look beautiful. I have never actually grown them, but maybe next year. I am trying to get more colour into my Garden this year by growing lots of seeds. The Weather has not been great here for leaving them outside all night but it is not difficult to place them indoors each late afternoon though. I am sure you do fine with your garden being keen is a good asset to have.

Sjoerd, I am actually doing both: chitting the potatoes & potting up the dalia tubers indoors. Still too cold here to plant the dahlias outside.

We are due to get snow tonight if you believe it!!!!

I just bought a starter pack and put them in the soil in a flower bed....been there for a few weeks now and the weather has been like winter really..Oh well live and learn,,Welcome Luna yours sounds like they are going to be ok....you will find people busy at this time of the year so less postings but still seem to answer people queries with good advice... but easy to see that there is so much outside to get on with..and some people working as well. My time is my own but honestly I could fill my day twice over with no problems....

How are they doing now? If you could put them somewhere that's sheltered or get some horticultural fleece to put on them.
