Unless it is sweet like silver queen, I soak them and then roast them in the shucks, usually on a grill. They are sweeter that way.

Fish tacos.... Left overs from last nite's dinner. The lettuce & peas came from the garden.

Breaded chicken breast with oven chips and baked beans. I do a few chips for the boys, they get excited over them.

Tonight will be boneless pork chops, steamed baby red potatoes with green beans, and cottage bread.
Mart, please don't tell me your tomatoes are ripe! We have lots of very green tomatoes. Some are looking like they are starting to ripen, but we don't have any tomatoes for salad!

Cod in a mushroom sauce with asparagus and polenta french fries. Salad with peas from the garden.

We're having company. Yes, people in the house, can you believe it,? With no one coming over for over a year, oh boy did i have a lot of de-cluttering to do.

BTW, that looks delicious @Dirtmechanic .

Traditional Sunday dinner, roast beef and Yorkshire pudding with all the veg and gravy.
Did anyone know that the Yorkshire pudding wasn't meant to eat with the meal, it was for eating before the meal to fill the person up.
