Not sure what this is called, but it worked out. First I fry up a pound of bacon, leave the drippings in the pan, add shredded cabbage and a sliced onion. Boil a package of egg noodles, drain, and add to the cooked cabbage. Dice up the cooked bacon and add to noodles. I usually have to add some butter and/or olive oil, garlic salt and red pepper flakes. Yum. Hubby was worried that there was not enough protein, so he stopped on the way home with a bucket of chicken.
Nor does my Bride, Dirt. She reads a recipe and then does her thing, using it as a sort of guideline. To this date I have no complaints whatsoever.
Anyone here make Scotch Eggs? I've attempted twice, so-so results. Do you have a sauce that goes with them?
Nope but the recipe for scotch eggs seems straightforward. I need to ask about these beyond meat burgers. What internal temp is medium? Cooking pea protein is blowing my scale over here. I am sure they are edible as they come so maybe just crusty them up some?
I just went to 140f from frozen. They amaze me. I don't get that "I ate heavy fat on a hot day" feeling. Dinner tonight is as pictured. Italian stuffed chicken with the dried salty ham and cheesy bits with steamed soy beans (edamame) and rice. And sweet tea on ice.
Are you sure you made this pie ? Have only seen the edge crust that perfect on pies that are bought ! If you made it you had better get off your backside and tell me how you did it !
