Hey that has come a long way! I think I recall seeing the original dig!

 

This is how it was by last November. I started digging the three beds out a couple of months before. All last summer was given to making 'ay for 'orses (rescue ones during covid)

Tetters, a big 'oorah for your 'ay for rescue 'orses! Shelters around here are filled to capacity with dogs and cats whose owners are either in hospital with covid, or have died. Horses aren't as big a problem since there are lots of ranches that can take in a horse or two until they are adopted.
This vile disease is impacting more than just people, and that's so very sad. Animals don't have the option of being vaccinated and protected. Humans do.

 

I couldn't agree more, animals score very high indeed on our list. I was caring for dogs with the Yorkshire terrier and Toy breed Rescue for a few years and rehomed 30 dogs altogether. Heartbreaking and rewarding at the same time.
Here are four of them -all with very sad stories and all with happy endings. I kept Henry on the far right of the picture. He was a brave little chap who had been treated SO cruelly by some travellers and he had the sweetest temperament. Charlie -second in from the left had been left to die in a cage with two cats, he had no fur and was covered in muck and fleas. It took a while to get him back to handsome and we couldn't even tell what breed he was at first. As he regained his health and his fur began to grow back we discovered that he was a Pomeranian and a very handsome one indeed.
Horses are more of a problem here as people have less space, and not enough money to feed them. It's usually less well off people who want to help the rejects unfortunately.
