If you ask her how many days to Christmas she will tell you, then Santa will give a update and other things. I know that it's childish but i like it.
Nothing wrong with that, Loggie. I use the link below to follow The Sint on 24 december: https://www.noradsanta.org/en/ Kids at heart, we are.
Oh meid, just wait til the 24th. Then you can see the Sint with sleigh and reindeer flying above the earth. It is fun for children and adults alike.
Thanks for the tip @Logan and the link @Sjoerd. I'll have to ask Vector to ask Alexa and see what he says. And we're gonna track Santa on the 24th. He's supposed to be here in Norway in the afternoon/evening since that's our big day. Wonder if he'll make it.
Zigs don't know how to do that, but hubby might he's into that sort of thing. Say to her, happy boxing Day
I know for sure that hubby puts in routines and says a command word to start it. After breakfast he wants the dining room light turned off and the TV volume turned down,so he says to her breakfast is over. She says I captain and ok for the TV volume.
Me: Alexa, remind me to go to the gym. Alexa: I have added gin to your shopping list. Me: Close enough . . . .
Haven't got Alexa. "One woman talking in this house is enough." I'm surprised my Sony Android TV hasn't complained before, as I rarely speak to it. Digressing We've had a TomTom in our cars for a couple of decades. On long journeys my wife hardly ever stops talking, so she often talks over "Sally Satnav's" instructions. So I complain and she's silent for a few seconds, then starts talking again, just as Sally is repeating the directions.
A lot of the time we ask her about the weather. We ask her is it raining? she says no rain is expected. Then we say it's raining now, she says look on the bright side it's good for the plants. Or she says good weather for ducks or she says time to find the umbrella.
Once in a while the connection goes down and can't give commands, we wake her with her name and the light goes off before we can say anything. But the app works and later came back on.
