    You can whip it up like cream and put it on any desert or pudding, or pour it on un whipped and for cooking.

    Ta Loggie. Is it meant to have sugar added for a topping on sweet things?

    @Daniel W - New Years for us was a fun dinner. A neighbour gave us a cooking magazine and we found a couple of fun things we each made. Hubby made smoked trout stuffed baby portabellas, I made a french onion gruyere dip with garlic toast, and some raw veggies, and beef tenderloin smidgons on the side.

    New Years Day was a surprise of artichokes from the grocery and lamb chops.

    Tonight is roast chicken, PARSNIPS @Sjoerd ( I'm in love BTW), garden cauliflower with the left over cheese sauce, garden peas and carrots, and smashed garlic potatoes for Hubby.

    The goal being left overs for a couple of days while outside and family things are cared for. And light....veg is good. :) Oh my...I'm ready for a lot of veg. It's been a heavy holiday.

    Bonus portions of home made Boston baked beans with vegetarian "sausage", and egg noodles with garlic, butter, parmesan. Not bad.

    You could add some sugar while whipping it but it doesn't need it.

    Mel is in love…..the birdies are chilping, the flowers are blooming the violins are playing.
    She has found parsnips. Are you thinking of running away to Gretna Green with your new favourite veggie?
    No but seriously, I am glad to hear that you like them. While I am mad about parsnips, I know that not everyone is.

    I find them easy to grow after they germinate. It is the germination that can be tricky…but there are techniques. When you are ready to seriously plant them, drop me a line and we can talk about the soil that you will grow them in.

    You are due a shiny “atta girl”.

    Thank you Loggie, I had no idea.

    Cayu— I know that dish…who’da thunk that old clothes could be so delicious.
    Tell us more about the receta Cubana.

    @Sjoerd and @Melody Mc.
    This is how to whip it up, it thickens up after whipping the day after, so don't whip it too much. This video says it's for a frosting but it's the same thing. Used to be able to get single, whipping cream. Can only get double light cream and only from Morrisons.

    There's a plant based one, the one that hubby saw was a double plant based type
