Yes he sprayed it again last year but it's got large mushrooms coming off it and he spent an whole week removing those 4 pampas grasses they went to 10ft easily but the roots was massive.

I couldn’t poison. Cut down or dig out pampas grass that grew bigger than the shed. Finally had to burn it out. They are sharp leaves and messy poms.
Very pretty for the right place. There are tamer Hebrides with pretty in pink colors fluffy poms that don’t shed .

Well couldn't set them on fire because they was in the front garden by the fencing.

Zigs.. your pic of the hellebore… so pretty. Aren’t they the best sight this time of year? They are always performing for blooms for the earliest in winter gardens… tried and true. If yours are not the newer hybrids then they will cross pollinate and produce more visuals of blooms / flowers every year. I don’t have any buds on any of mine yet.. should be any time soon….:smt034

They self seed all over the place. I planted up 3 in pots in the fruit tunnel to encourage the bees to go to the back of the tunnel to polinate the blackcurrants but they haven't got flower buds on them :setf_050:

Yes your pic is exactly the same as my monster pampas…it was next to the shed , bigger than the shed . And slowly burned it out after cutting it down as far as possible. Left less than a foot showing from the ground ,then torched it. It was manageable that way and managed to not burn down the shed. They are so messy I can’t tell you how many times the leaves cut my fingers like paper cuts ‘/absolute torture or just brush by it in shorts legs get the razor sharp leaves more cuts.
It was very satisfying burning it out. :sete_056:

I wouldn't burn anything so close to a fence.

The 4 rooting was massive and it took my hubby an whole week to remove them, i used to cut them back twice a year over the fence and then the neighbour next door commented they went in her face, there's always one  So now we have 2 miniture hybrid willow tree's in there to replace the gap.
They're a pain for sticking to your close
I totally agree Logan and that fencing was cheap lol

That mushroom type looks like a tree killer. I would be nervous about having it in the garden.
Chuckle…but I am not sure about that.
