Oh Pac I am a big fan of apple blossoms. I find them delicate and remarkably beautiful… annnnd they come at a good time.
This time of year is a perfect time of year to be active on Garden Stew which extends an open invitation to share our gardening passions and much more. I enjoy all the garden pics from around the world and acknowledge every single comment as genuine from seedlings , flowers , questions/answers and projects We all have one thing in common and that’s the desire to grow plants, sharing, learning and harvesting. This is an uplifting experience . So many always about encouraging their fellow gardeners. All of us dirt nerds, dendrophiles and plant nurturers. Many are what could be considered as gardeners extraordinaire’s . Those are who I think when one feels compelled to nurture the soil, plants, flowers, trees… they tend to also be nurturer’s of souls. This season is just getting started a lot more excitement to come.
Lovely photos Sjoerd, Oreti and Pac. Apple blossom, this was taken from my bedroom window, can see it better from there.
Stunning tulips, Loggie. They are breathtaking to see. What Pac said. There is so much to appreciate here.
Tulips are the first to bring amazing color to the garden and yours are very versatile and adds a huge pop of color announcing spring has arrived . More to see and share …
Every morning is so exciting to see what is awakening from it's Winter slumber...isn't Spring magical!
Too right, Oreti. You have some nice bloomers there. Nice-looking Syringa. We have some of the same flowers.
Thanks @Sjoerd , that was grown from a little cutting I took a few years back. Their fragrance is gorgeous isn't it!!
Oreti … Daniel … your spring flower pics are exceptional and magical . Adding to that spring magical season a first rhody . Tree peony’s Wisteria Tree peony Lilacs
Oreti— you are so right about them smelling good. I only have two sorts— one like yours and a Syringa meyeri Palibin. That second one is small of stature but big on fragrance. Daniel— magnificent Camassia, mate. The other ones are not slouchy at all either. Chapeau. PAC— simply gorgeous…however the one of the tree peony is remarkable. It floats my boat. It looks like a sculpture in digital form. Superb.
