Like your set up Daniel. S-H In our PNW climate many plants need grow lights to get a good start before planting outside. We have 4 seasons. Winter -rain/snow. Spring - cold weather plants begin to bloom. Summer- warm weather general growing season outside. Fall - leaves change color then fall from deciduous trees, and other plants that are not cold hardy begin dormancy for the winter. There are several states in the US that are in a desert zone extreme hot temps and very little rain. Mojave Desert where Death Valley is located sits nearly 300 feet below sea level in the middle of California's Mojave Desert— is known as the hottest place on Earth and in 1913 set an all-time heat record of a blistering 134 degrees. July records the hottest temps on earth. This arid region of southeastern California and portions of Nevada, Arizona, and Utah, in the U.S. The Mojave Desert occupies more than 25,000 square miles (65,000 square km) and joins the Sonoran, Great Basin, and Chihuahuan deserts in forming the North American Desert.
