Those palm trees are very handsome. Im a big fan of palms. I only know of two kinds that grow here. There are two Trachycarpus fortunei in my yard. Handsome trees too, but I would really enjoy date palms. If they are not already growing nopale cacti and prickly pear cacti, maybe it's time to start! They are healthy foods and grow in very hot conditions. https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-...pert-answers/prickly-pear-cactus/faq-20057771

In my unforgivingly hot climate, if anyone doesn't have any shade of trees - Then either they would be called crazy, or living in an apartment (ehete you can't have any trees. Or unfortunate enough to in some very low income housing. See this picture below, as that's one side of another property I own. Where I have lined the entire boundary wall with conocarpus trees. I did so because they grow fast, and also function as a wind barrier. s9 the best windfall benefit from this is, that my house and driveway stays a little cooler in comparison to my neighbors. We have all types of palms and date trees growing here. As they are well suited for such hot climate. They do require some work to keep them tidy, (or else their dead leaves made a mess). Cactus of all types are only grown by hobbits in their own homes. But since it's not natural to my region, we don't see it in public places all that much. Anyway, there has been a good change in my weather now. Which I had been waiting for. As this means that the heatwave could now come to an end. Because the barometric pressure has dropped. Otherwise it was hovering around 1010 milibars. But now it's finally dropped to 1007. The moment it goes below 1000, (one atmosphere of pressure) - We might start getting some much awaited monsoon rains.
Good morning all, cloudy and a gentle breeze temp 9c to 18c Precipitation 0% Sunrise 5.04 Sunset 21.05 No rain is expected today
Heat wave relief camps are being set up alongside many busy streets in the city. This never happened when I was a kid - And people still say that climate change is a hoax??? Well then, please come here and experience just one week in my climate, I dare anyone, (I'll even pay for the entire travel and lodging plus all meals) - Just no air conditioning or any other refrigeration of any type. So when you go back home, you truthfully tell everyone how climate change is destroying everything. Pretty soon it just won't only be my part of the world which is suffering, but yours too will start to experience a change... Weather Right Now: Temperature (dry bulb): 36°C - 97°F.
