Thank you @Pacnorwest , and you are such a great contributor to this fabulous thread too. Not only are your blooms stunning but you also have such great photographic skills as well....I'm just 'snapper' who has to crop out the not so good bits!!:chuckle:
It's so lovely getting a peek at everyone's garden and learning what grows well in other zones.

@Oreti thank you …most pics are really due to the advancements iPad has included in the photo programs over the years they have far advanced a lot of features in cameras. It’s all automatic editing. So easy even I can do it. I crop out the bad bits too . Just a tidbit of info. :smt023

Sjoerd, thanks for sharing the horse - and - buggy movies. I enjoyed them.
The gardener in me would be following them with a shovel and bucket. The best fertilizer!

Glad you liked those, Daniel. They are so much fun to watch, the people sometimes dress up in the old costumes or farm-like clothing when they drive.
You are right about wanting to gather the horse poop. It is great for the gardens. We use lot of it each year. You can just drive out into the country and pick it up on the side of the road. —let me explain: Folks that keep horses here (and there are many) clean their stables and then put the muck in large bin liners and then pile it onto the side of the roads for folks to take away. The bags do not last long.

Horse recycled hay (manure). is available around here at most horse stables. Some yard debris stations also accept it and compost it for you to pick up.

What if the manure is contaminated with weed seeds? Composting is a very effective method for killing weed seeds . Internal heat generated by composting manure will kill most weed seeds as long as high temps are achieved high enough to kill all those weed seeds recycled by the horses.

    Heeeeee. IMG_3344.jpeg

    What’s looking good in July?
    For me it’s this:
    IMG_4219.jpeg

Recently my gardening neighbour-lady returned from hols. We looked after her garden whilst she was away. Each time she feels like she has to bring a thank you giftie. This year it was Lübecker Marzipan… chocolate-covered. Jongens, marzipan as marzipan is supposed to be. Old-fashioned marzipan. Oh my word!

I like these pictures. Did I see a goldfinch there? You have so many nice plants there.
