I didn't know that Gunnera was invasive. Well, another I won't buy! Most buddleias are illegal here. Mine are sterile hybrids, and are allowed. I do see buddleias growing on the roadsides sometimes.
Daniel I have those big bad buddlieas too. Way before they were labeled invasive. Have had it for years it never has spread out , reseeded or became invasive. Still in the same place for years. It’s one nice shrub full of bees and butterflies. However the gunnera is not so invasive here, when it snows it becomes rather puney. They can sell them here. Whereas other plants labeled invasive in different states it’s illegal for nurseries to sell invasive plants. Back in the day we could get anything. And in some cases I wish I had known better then there have been a few invasive ivies that are not sold here anymore, extremely invasive . Thank goodness. I’m still yanking that boo boo out ! I did manage to get all the Algerian ivy out but that English variegated ivy is still a pain. In the past when riding horses thru mt Hood we would help clean out ivy with the forest service. Many place you could only get to by horses. The ole cowgirl,days. Ok yeap I’m a baby boomer. Who else is?

@Logan I wanted to get back with you … I couldn’t believe how many trees I planted when I went thru my tree collection list. There are over 50 different trees I have planted over the years. Some trees more than one of the same species. I would end up posting a book just posting each tree pic . Both flowering trees, deciduous, evergreen, giant redwoods , eucalyptus, fruit trees, paperbark, and decorative maples and dwarf maples, dwarf pines, cypress , cedars, dogwoods , tsuja’s, yew’s, conifers, hemlock, fir, holly trees and more. Yikes … now I know where all my energy went. And that’s not including all the shrubs .

Not doing much today in the garden just deadheaded the trailing geraniums in the baskets, cleared some of the moss on the driveway.

Daniel— I wish that that I could smell. At the minute I have. Bit of a problem smelling anything except the strong odours. haha. It’s the pollen. Pollen in the nose. Pollen in the throat.
