    What is it about Dawn? It's recommended for a variety of applications other than washing dishes.

    It’s a gentle degreacer. I use Dawn to unclog the bathroom toilet. Clean the counters and put it in powdered sugar to get rid of those teeny tiny itssy bitsy black ants. They have been swarming the kitchen,
    I wonder if it works on ground squirrels… mmm…any thoughts?

    The guy in the vid said he just had Dawn on hand but any dish soap would work

    Clay- we actually did this as a first response when we realized there was a nest. We used Dawn but mixed it with water, so it didn’t do a thing. Are you supposed to use dawn full strength?
    I did get the powder today courtesy of the amazon van. We are planning tonight’s assault.

    So Bob went out at dusk to apply delta dust to the nest. It’s been about 18 hours, and we still see the wasps flying in and out of the nest. Hmmm
    There is a lot of dust and some of the wasps got covered when they came out, and probably going in too. Will we need to reapply?
