I haven't been on for a bit. MIGardener had a sale on seeds over Labor Day weekend. So I ordered a few for next season. 1726456389708311728076905423567.jpg

I'm very excited about the tomatoes. They were 80 year old seeds. That video was one of the first that I watched with him.

Wow 80 yr old seeds!! I 'll be interested in following your success with them, in particular the Tomatoes.:fingerscrossed::like:

Thanks , taking life at a slower pace... for the time being but Hubs is doing well. Sometimes I think such 'scares' are sent as a shock reminder to take into account the needs and capabilities of our ageing bodies. We all tend to soldier on with our busy lives giving little regard to the consequences.:worried:

Pulled up all of the pot marigolds around the path, cut off all of the spent flowers on the verbascum, put everything in the compost bins so next year they'll be everywhere.

    Just a tidy up.
Pruned more unwanted wisteria shoots. Dead headed the roses on the patio and removed foliage with black spot. Scraped out between the flags on the rose patio. Weeded the grass out of the rockery. Mowed the lawn and used my garden vac to remove fallen leaves.

Yes, that was the update. And although all the seeds were that old; it was only the tomato that was no longer around. I hope they grow for me, you can only buy 2 packs and there's only 5 seeds in each one. I bought the second one for a trial with both the adolescents and upper el. He does have another video where he tastes the tomato. Glad your husband is doing better!
