Thank you Sjoerd, yes the training is coming along nicely with my newbie, the walking to heal is great, sitting while another dog and owner goes by is coming along well. The only thing is that he jumps up at people he meets so trying to stop that is difficult, when we meet a lot of people i tell them that he jumps up and most of them say that they don't mind it, but I'm still trying to stop him.
Being a newbie he likes chasing bikes, birds, leaves and motor bikes.

@Logan About training. We’ll be almost a year of training with the new pup in December . It’s like we are stuck with a perpetual 3year old with all the antics they have come up with along the way. They make us frustrated sometimes, by the chewing stage, they make us laugh uncontrollably most of the time , and they are always full of surprises. Sometimes I wonder who has who trained. She has pick up a great habit when I drop something she’ll run and pick it up and give it to me without asking. Such a little helper. Whatever the mood they find us in they luv us no matter what. I think if God gives the longest life for kindness then dogs will win hands down.

@Pacnorwest i agree with everything that you say, i think that they have us trained. It's nice that yours pick things up for you and give it back. River loves to hold his toys and have fuss at the same time.

    Thanks @Sjoerd yes i agree.

Friday night i was walking River up the road not far from us for him to have his last wee for the night. Walked him back down and tripped over, don't know how i did it but it was dark and the pavements are in bad condition. I've got a badly grazed knee but fine, I just wanted you to know what River did that's all,River was brilliant he didn't run away and wondered why i was on the ground.

I am sorry to hear of your tumble, Loggie. You be careful mow, the Christmas season is coming up and you don’t want to take your tea and pies in a body cast. ;)
    I’m glad you’re oké.
