I think, idealism is not something to be guilty about. I am more idealistic too - more than is good for me.
Daniel— you are too right, mate. I use idealism as a guide knowing that compromise is reality. Pac— Thanks. Yes it would…just imagine. Another guilty pleasure is— ice cream. I make no excuses.
Perhaps my biggest Guilty Pleasure is dark chocolate, I even use it in chilli. Here are a couple of goodies for by the tea:
Sjoerd, have you had chocolate covered Jalapeños or chocolate flavored with cayenne peppers? I like both, and the chocolate with bits of orange peel.
Daniel—I do not know choccy peppers, but I do know choc and orange peel. In one of 5he thing you see above is orange gel covered witg choc.
I learned about using bitter chocolate whilst travelling in Mexico. I like it with a couple of dishes.
Daniel—When I was in Mexico one of my most favourite things with a meal was Mole Poblano. It tasted a little different in every village and city. To be fair, it took me a few times to get used to it but eventually my Bride and I did come to love it. As I said, you can use it in other dishes as well, not that chilli is Mexican…but I love the flavours. I do not think that I have ever had any chilli in Mexico…and I travelled extensively. The goody in the foto is a “sinas snipper”. They may be too sweet for you, though.
I have visited the Seattle Chocolate Factory and loved their dark chocolate and chili bar. Now I have to try a new variety https://www.seattlechocolate.com/products/jcoco-veracruz-orange?_pos=2&_sid=1a6996b78&_ss=r. Some day soon.
