Prickles was released into the garden last night as he's now fully recovered. Over the last week we had been putting him into the bath twice a day to give him some hydrotherapy to strengthen his leg. He weighed in at 867 grammes and has almost doubled in size so should manage fine on his own now. I'll still put food and water out for him each night, gradually reducing the amount, but he was happily munching slugs (I hope) in the shrubbery shortly after he was given his freedom. I was a little sad to see him go but so pleased that's he's been able to be set free.

Great job Eileen...He looks so good and a lot bigger then he was. I am sure he will much all the slugs in your garden as "payment" for taking such good care of him! :stew1:
