Hey, guess who I caught wandering out of my bushes this Christmas? He appeared to be well-read, perhaps looking for a little advice on how to best care for his gardening book. I was happy to help.

I was also most honored when he deigned to permit a brief hug, for promotional purposes only of course. He was soon allowed to go his own way, though he has since chosen to hang around our front doorway, perhaps in hopes of sneaking into my more extensive library downstairs.

They are invading the country - in Oregon now - how long before they make it across the states to Michigan?

So nice to see a literate gnome around Polly!!! I wonder if he got the book from Dooley's library. Hope he doesn't have overdue fines to psy on it. ;)

Love your red hair btw - mine used to be just like yours...... a long time ago. :(

Hmmm for quite a well-read gnome you'd think he'd realise he doesn't need a lantern durung the daytime :D Did you ask his name Prim? I also see he is copying my "Xmas look".

BTW nice to meet you Prim :)

I don't think his book is from my library. I haven't seen him around and I think I'd remember a little short gnome with a lantern. My hair used to be red, now everyone thinks it's blonde or strawberry blonde. Dooley

Well, it is pretty dark down under the bushes on an overcast day - he mumbled his name down in his beard, or perhaps it was in gnomish...never did catch it. Something that started with F... Felix, or Festus or something, who knows....

    ;-)

I guess I haven't been in any of my pics, have I? I see myself in the mirror every day, so I hadn't thought about it. My hair is more dark-blonde than red, but does have red highlights, I guess the green makes it look redder. :D

Are you sure he is not one of Frank's relatives? Sure does look like it.

He could be Jan. That's why I asked Prim to find out his name so I could perform some gnome genealogy :)

He is soooo handsome and I am sure he'll love it being with you.

I'd love to have some gnomes, but they would suffer in our climate - something to do with their reduced production of melatonin - I guess that's why I don't see many of them around and the one's I've spotted, have rather "washed out" look. :sete_038:

    Love Lara
